The Opportunity
Join Veolia Environmental Services as a Driver (Operator) in our Metro Packaged Waste team. Operating various vehicles including front, rear lift and forklift.
Based at our Welshpool site, servicing customers across the region.
Be part of a sustainable waste management company committed to environmental responsibility.
Mon - Fri - 6.00 am starts 8 - 10 hrs on average and overtime as required

What you'll be responsible for

Collecting and transporting packaged controlled waste safely and responsibly
-
Operating Veolia vehicles and forklift equipment to load/unload waste
-
Completing pre and post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
-
Ensuring waste is delivered to licensed disposal depots in compliance with regulations

Maintaining vehicles and work areas to high cleanliness standards
What you'll need to be successful

Current HR Class driver's licence (essential)
-
Bulk Dangerous Goods Licence (essential)
-
LF Forklift High Risk Licence (essential)

Waste industry experience and hazardous goods knowledge (desirable)
