The Opportunity


Veolia ANZ has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and reliable Yard Hand to join our Operations team in St Marys, NSW 2760. This exciting role offers the chance to take charge of all onsite yard maintenance, playing a crucial part in keeping our facilities running smoothly and efficiently. If you're passionate about maintaining a safe and organised work environment, we want to hear from you!

 

Work Schedule:

 

  • Weekdays: Monday to Friday, starting at 7:00 AM

  • Weekends: Rotating roster

What you'll be responsible for


 

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy depot through regular housekeeping

  • Collaborate effectively with other departments in the business unit

  • Promote and uphold workplace safety standards

  • Unload vacuum trucks as needed

  • Assisting drivers as an offsider when needed

  • Provide after-hours assistance when required

  • Report all work-related concerns and issues to the unit Supervisor

What you'll need to be successful


 

  • Forklift license preferred (training available if needed)

  • Valid driver's licence required

  • Strong commitment to safety
