The Opportunity

In this Queensland State Manager role, you will have full responsibility for the industrial services activities carried out in Queensland to ensure efficient, cost-effective and profitable operations that are safe, legally, environmentally and ethically responsible. Managing up to five direct reports, you will lead planning processes and business plans, and ensure inspection and test plans are prepared and work procedures reviewed appropriately. You will also drive the performance in relation to both sales achievement and operational effectiveness and develop and implement business plans to build new and develop existing opportunities.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Team management, focused on coordination of all planning, process, growth and business activities

  • Operations management across all sites, with a view to safety, compliance and efficiency

  • Assist in target estimating and job costing for individual jobs, ensuring that all issues specific to the site/job have been identified and the customer understands job requirements

  • Facilitate and maintain communication and relationships with internal stakeholders across relevant Veolia units

  • Compile financial information and data and prepare reports and recommendations as required
