Veolia has a newly created opportunity within its Remediation Services business, for a Junior Project Manager to join its growing team.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Manage and deliver a broad scope of small remediation projects to achieve time, cost and quality objectives.
  • Prepare health, safety and environmental documentation and provide project reporting.
  • Fully optimising project resources to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage and report project financials including forecast against plan and budget.
  • Provide technical support in the preparation of proposals and tenders.
  • Completion project documentation and administrative tasks including project plans, safety plans, financial reporting, invoicing and monthly status updates.
  • Travel to client sites when required to undertake field based activities including site visits, sampling and project coordination/supervision.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, legislative, and Veolia corporate obligations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.

What you'll need to be successful

  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management.
  • Tertiary qualification in an Engineering field is desirable (Chemical or Process preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects within the remediation or water treatment sectors.
  • An understanding of project delivery with an emphasis on cost control, contractor management, quality assurance and data management.
  • Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
