The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Technician to join our team at Sydney's Desalination Plant in Kurnell 2231. This role will provide critical operational and maintenance capabilities to help ensure contractual requirements are met during the plant's operation and maintenance.

What you'll be responsible for
- Troubleshoot problems, undertake corrective actions and first-line maintenance
- Conduct routine, corrective and breakdown maintenance repairs as well as installations and upgrades
- Perform technician duties to meet contractual obligations and minimise health & safety, environmental and equipment impacts
- Ensure safe and reliable plant operation within set parameters to achieve KPIs
- Maintain housekeeping and appearance
- Induct, liaise with, and supervise contractors for maintenance and project activities
- Follow document control and record-keeping requirements
- Report on OHS, security, environmental, process, equipment, and quality issues
- Attend toolbox meetings, conduct risk assessments, follow work instructions/permits
- Participate in on-call rosters, overtime, training, and skills development
- Perform routine area checks, monitor data/security screens, and report issues
What you'll need to be successful
- Trade qualified
- Experience in water/wastewater treatment plant or similar processes (desired)
