Title:  Mechanical Field Technician

The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is seeking a Mechanical Field Technician to join our Resource Recovery team at our Ti Tree Bioenergy facility. As the Mechanical Technician you will be responsible for operating and maintaining all of the equipment on-site.

This is a full time permanent position with overtime available. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working within the heavy industrial space, as well as the opportunity for on the job training and upskilling.

What you'll be responsible for

• To operate, service, maintain and repair plants and equipment on-site in a timely manner. 

• Complete scheduled daily work tasks and complete work orders as directed by the Field Supervisor in an efficient and timely manner 

• Assisting with planning scheduled maintenance tasks 

• Monitoring and reporting on the status and condition of plants and systems

• Record, Maintain stock and parts levels and advise any discrepancies

What you'll need to be successful

• Mechanical trade qualified (open) 

• Previous experience working with heavy industrial gas fired engines advantageous but not essential 

• Experience working with type B equipment desired 

• A strong focus on health and safety
