Title:  Field Supervisor

The Opportunity

Be part of the waste team as a Field Supervisor in Willowbank 4306. The opportunity is to maintain, develop and execute expansion of the site's gas and leachate management systems.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Daily supervision of field operations (Gas and Leachate systems).

  • Liaise with the Operations Management team to achieve KPI's.

  • Direction and assistance to the field team in efficient disconnection and reconnection of the gas extraction wells and leachate pumping systems

  • Gas well extension scheduling in line with the filling plan

  • Fault finding for blockages/condensate buildup and Ingress of oxygen

  • Scheduling pneumatic pump maintenance

  • Improvements to the gas field, including data collection, scheduling drilling/project. work, balancing of the gas field and installation of pipe work.

  • Leave planning and ongoing development plan for field operations

  • Scheduling general site maintenance tasks

What you'll need to be successful

  • Full QLD drivers licence

  • 3+ years supervisory/managerial experience in landfill, petrochemical or construction industries

  • Experience in working with waste disposal or gas extraction will be beneficial

  • Demonstrative knowledge and experience of Workplace Health and Safety

  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance and medical check relevant to the role
