Veolia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Coordinator to join the Whyalla Industrial Services team.

What you'll be responsible for
-
Provide operational and technical coordination and supervision of works performed including peak shutdown programs.

Task being performed on Onesteel & SIMEC Mining.

Collaborate and Coordinate with customers at client meetings.
-
Prioritise and plan work activities including allocating suitable resources as required (labor, equipment, third party) to safely and efficiently complete works.

Lead toolbox meeting and shift start ups.
-
Manage staff timesheets and third party suppliers invoices.
-
Oncall rotation to support a 24 hour client operation.

Manage Veolia assets onsite.

Ensure compliance with Veolia and client policies and procedures and quality management standards

Drive Veolia’s ‘Always Safe’ Culture.
What you'll need to be successful
-
Demonstrated experience in Operational and Project coordination.
-
Heavy industry experience is highly desirable.

HR truck licence
-
Strong problem-solving skills.
-
Strong mechanical aptitude.
-
A high regard for customer service and interaction.

Able to undergo a pre-employment medical and national police check.
