Title:  Training Advisor

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Operational Training Technical Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our people learn and perform by designing engaging training content and practical assessment tools that make a real difference on the job. You'll apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to create effective, engaging learning solutions aligned with organisational and regulatory requirements.

 

This opportunity is initially offered on a 12 month fixed term contract basis, with the possibility of being extended.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Create engaging training materials and e-learning modules using instructional design principles

  • Support Cloud Assess system, develop assessment tools, and collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address training gaps

  • Evaluate training effectiveness, gather feedback, and regularly update content to incorporate best practices and industry standards

  • Communicate training initiatives to stakeholders, build relationships with subject matter experts and trainers, and support cross-functional teams

  • Assist with training projects and timelines, and stay current with instructional design techniques through ongoing professional development

What you'll need to be successful

  • Minimum 2 year’s experience in a similar role

  • Experience with learning management systems

  • Intermediate experience with Articulate Storyline and Rise

  • Experience with transport, mining or construction industries is an advantage
