The Opportunity


Veolia ANZ is looking for an experienced Strategic Sales Manager to join our Western Australia team, based in Welshpool. Reporting directly to the State Sales Manager, this is a newly created leadership role designed to drive performance and consistency across our Major Account Management function in the Perth Metropolitan market.

 

You'll take direct ownership of a team of Major Account Managers, providing the coaching, structure, and strategic direction needed to retain and grow a portfolio of high-value clients.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of Major Account Managers

  • Supporting the team through tender submissions, complex sales opportunities, and major account relationship management

  • Analysing account performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and outcomes

  • Ensuring consistent achievement of KPIs and account management standards

  • Managing a small number of your own key client relationships

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Proven experience coaching and mentoring a sales or account management team

  • Strong background in major account management and/or strategic sales

  • Solutions-focused with the ability to analyse accounts and make commercially sound recommendations

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is advantageous
