The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic and want to gain experience within the waste industry, come join our supportive and friendly teams based in Welshpool 6160,
As a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic you will be responsible for servicing and maintenance within Veolia's workshop maintaining commercial waste vehicles, plant and equipment. Attending breakdowns whilst on roster.
Monday - Friday 12.30pm to 9.00pm, week day overtime as required.

What you'll be responsible for
-
To service maintain and repair plant, equipment and fleet vehicles in a timely manner
-
Complete scheduled daily work tasks as directed by the Workshop Supervisor/Leading Hand in an efficient and timely manner

Complete work orders, purchase orders and part requisitions daily and in full
-
Record, monitor stock and part levels and advise any discrepancies
What you'll need to be successful
-
Australian recognised Diesel / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic's trade certificate
-
Proven mechanical knowledge / experience within the automotive repair industry

Forklift ticket ticket is desirable

HR licence
