The Opportunity
Fantastic Leadership Opportunities!
Based permanently in Welshpool, you'll take charge of daily site operations, managing a dedicated team of approximately 6 staff.
This role focuses on driver coordination and incident management, monthly SHEQ reporting. & toolboxes ensuring smooth operational excellence.
This is a Monday to Friday 9 am - 5pm Site based role in Welshpool with on-call for out of hours issues.

What you'll be responsible for
-
Manage daily fleet and driver scheduling
-
Responsible for all site operations, including reporting on financial performance and reviewing operating costs

Coordinate driver documentation and safety
-
Lead team training and safety meetings
-
Ensure HSE compliance
-
Process maintenance and supply orders
-
Track and report incidents
-
Foster safety culture and customer service excellence
-
Developing and implementing strategies to improve service delivery whilst maintaining customer service requirements
What you'll need to be successful
-
HR licence desirable
-
An understanding of the waste industry or transport and logistics industry
-
Demonstrable experience of team management
-
Experience in submitting and presenting detailed responses to customers' commercial and operational requests and reporting
