The Opportunity
We're seeking a Key Account Manager to manage and grow our liquid and hazardous waste business across Perth metro. This role focuses on larger contracts and project-based work, combining account management with commercial business development. You'll work with major clients, negotiate contracts, and leverage our existing client database to expand service delivery.

What you'll be responsible for

Manage and grow relationships with major accounts in the liquid and hazardous waste sector

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, particularly project-based work

Conduct market research, develop targeted sales strategies, and close new business deals

Negotiate contracts and ensure mutually beneficial agreements

Liaise with operations, treatment plants, and logistics to ensure seamless service delivery

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices

Provide regular reports on account performance and sales activities to management
What you'll need to be successful

Sales experience (project-based work preferred, but not essential)

Strong organisational and time management skills

Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce advantageous)

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

Willingness to travel across Perth metro

Keen to build a career in waste management
