The Opportunity
Join our motivated WA Commercial Finance team as a Graduate Finance Analyst and play a key part in supporting our operational goals. You'll work alongside experienced Senior Finance Analysts in a collaborative environment, gaining practical experience across a range of financial support services.
In your day-to-day activities, you'll assist with the preparation and review of weekly and monthly financial and management reports. This role offers excellent exposure to financial processes, systems, and stakeholder management as you develop your finance career.
You'll work closely with Senior Finance Analysts and partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely financial information that supports business decision-making. This is a permanent full-time role based in our Welshpool office.

What you'll be responsible for
-
Assist with financial analysis and variance reporting under the guidance of the Senior Finance Analyst

Support the preparation and review of month-end financial results
-
Develop proficiency in financial reporting processes and accounting standards

Assist in ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are accurate, complete, and compliant with accounting standards

Reconcile and review revenue control accounts against operational ERP systems
-
Support the reconciliation of general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies
-
Support the Annual Budget and monthly forecast process
-
Assist in data collection, consolidation, and analysis for budget submissions
-
Work closely with the National Tender team to support the development and completion of commercial models

Assist in preparing financial information for tender submissions

Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives
What you'll need to be successful

Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance
-
Starting or working toward completion of CPA/CA qualifications

Recent graduate OR up to 2 years of professional experience in an accounting or finance role

Demonstrated experience within an accounting or financial analyst position with skills gained in a large and complex business

Experience with SAP, TM1 and google suite is an advantage
