The Opportunity


Veolia ANZ is seeking an Area Sales Manager to join our Liquid and Hazardous Waste team based in Welshpool. This is a hybrid role where you will be responsible for hunting, managing and growing customer accounts. Working with multiple stakeholders from small business owners to internal operations teams you will be comfortable multi tasking and thinking on your feet.

This role would suit a motivated, customer focused individual looking to take the next step in their career and develop their craft within a global organisation. This role is an initial 12 month fixed term contract.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Work across all business units to meet or exceed personal and business sales targets
  • Ensure a continuous quality service for our Liquid & Hazardous Waste customers is provided 
  • Identify and secure new business within the current portfolio
  • Project manage opportunities working with transport and facilities to deliver a core service
  • Working with various outlets and facilities for best in class treatment for our clients
  • Face of the company to provide waste solutions to customers
  • Ability to drive market rates

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Customer service experience with strong system skills
  • Proven administrative and project management capabilities
  • Excellent organisational skills, particularly in scheduling and paperwork management
  • Strong attention to detail and professional demeanor
  • Proficient computer skills with high standards of written communication and grammar
  • Ability to coordinate multiple elements and work effectively with operations teams
  • Adaptable and flexible approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a varied, dynamic environment
