The Opportunity

Reporting to the Regional Lead, we have an opportunity for an experienced Compliance Coordinator to provide customer focused quality assurance (QA) and management support to the Wellington Management Team by supporting the Regional Wastewater Treatment Services Contract in multi-faceted tasks.

What you'll be responsible for
Key tasks include but are not limited to:

Lead quality assurance and compliance management for Wellington wastewater treatment operations
-
Manage all compliance reporting, investigations and corrective actions
-
Ensure adherence to resource consents and ISO standards
-
Coordinate internal/external audits and maintain quality management systems

Drive continuous improvement in compliance processes

Relationship management
What you'll need to be successful
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree, certificate or diploma
- Or strong previous experience in this field
Experience and Skills:
- Advanced computer skills, including Google and Microsoft suite packages.
- Effective data and documentation administrative skills
- Relevant experience in wastewater or environment monitoring (5+ years)
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment and Quality Management.
- The ability to understand and implement environmental legislation and regulations
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritise
- Excellent communication skills – oral and written
- Effective documentation skills
- Self Management with a focus on producing quality outputs with minimal supervision and direction
- Anticipates future problems and takes action
- Full motor vehicle drivers licence
