The Opportunity
We are looking for a switched on, experienced Capital Projects Technical Administrator. You will be responsible for supporting the Capex Delivery Group to deliver on financial, asset management, and notifications reporting KPIs to enable Veolia to meet its contractual and legislative obligations for the Wellington Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Service Contract. The focus of work will be to ensure coordination and communication between the client, staff, and contractors are managed diligently and in a timely manner.

What you'll be responsible for
Includes:

Finance (raise PO’s, invoices, cost coding, generate claims to the client, work with suppliers, track and manage asset renewal programme charges, ensure compliance)

Notifications Submit projects briefs to activity briefs)

Asset Management (workflow management, oversee work orders, maintain awareness of budgets and cost estimates, support cost estimate preparation)

What you'll need to be successful
Qualifications:
-
Technical or Business Administration qualification preferred
-
Understanding of capital projects delivery and asset management principles
Experience: Includes
-
Business report writing
-
Strong oral and written communication skills
-
Experience working with process and workflow management systems
-
Financial business acumen and cost management experience
-
Experience with capital projects administration and coordination
-
Ability to organise resources, establish priorities and meet deadlines through balancing commitments and priorities
-
Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations
-
Able to work under tight time pressure with strong communication people management and teamwork skills
-
Motivated and enthusiastic, with a keen eye for detail and a desire for excellent customer service

A commercial focus and the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external clients and customers

Understanding of contract management and KPI reporting

Motor vehicle driver's licence

Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

Google Suite of programs experience desired but not necessary
