Title:  Environmental Supervisor

The Opportunity


Veolia has a fantastic opportunity for an Environmental Supervisor to join our QGC Project in Wandoan 4419. Within this role you will be responsible for support for the Operations supervisor, implementing, maintaining, and improving the environmental management system for the QGC Project. The role involves delivering environmental functions, as well as supervisory support for Reverse Osmosis water treatment facilities.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Drive environmental excellence and operational performance

  • Lead and mentor site teams during supervisor absences

  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and HACCP requirements

  • Manage environmental contractors and consultants

  • Develop and implement environmental management strategies

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Proven experience in environmental management systems

  • Understanding of water treatment operations

  • ISO standards knowledge (9001, 14000, 22000)

  • Report writing and analytical capabilities
