The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ has a fantastic opportunity for a Operator / Maintainer to join our team based in Wandoan 4419. As the Operator / Maintainer you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the plants equipment to ensure the delivery of world class water services across the QGC water treatment plant.

What you'll be responsible for

• Operating and monitoring plant equipment, processes, and systems to meet operational targets
• Perform preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on plant assets
• Troubleshoot and rectify equipment/process faults and alarms
• Conduct laboratory testing, analysis, and sample collection
• Maintain accurate records and reports on plant performance
• Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and quality policies/procedures
• Assist with plant optimisation, commissioning, and reporting activities
• Provide training and supervision to other operators as needed
   

What you'll need to be successful

• Trade qualification preferred
• Experience in plant or water treatment operations highly regarded
