The Opportunity

 We are currently seeking an experienced HR driver to join our team in Wagga Wagga (2650) to safely operate our waste collection vehicles, providing essential commercial waste collection services to our valued customers.

Work Schedule:

 

Monday - Friday

Start time: From 5.00 am + opportunity for OT

What you'll be responsible for

  • Skillfully operate waste collection trucks between our transfer station and landfill location

  • Perform loading and unloading duties of commercial, construction waste, material or consignment

  • Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out

  • Actively maintain a healthy and safe work environment

  • Working on secure long term contracts collecting waste and recyclables 

  • Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders 

  • Ability to learn to operate a range of fleet and equipment

What you'll need to be successful

  • HR licence as a minimum requirement

  • Strong verbal communication Skills

  • Positive attitude

  • Commitment to safety and a safety-first mindset

  • Clean Driving record

  • Knowledge of the Wagga & Riverina area
