Title:  Finance & Reporting Analyst

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our Environmental Services division. In this role, you will provide commercial and analytical support to the Defence Contract Manager by gathering data and preparing reports and analysis for internal and external stakeholders. The successful applicant will work to establish best practice with process implementation to achieve a quality finished product. Further to this, the expectation is for the role to work on introducing automated invoice & reporting solutions.

This is a permanent full-time role based on-site at our Keysborough, Victoria office.

What you'll be responsible for

• Provide analytical support to contract managers, conduct financial and data analysis with variance reporting, resolve outstanding jobs and accruals with States, and develop monthly dashboards and review reports

• Review and reconcile debtors ledger, perform customer rebate reconciliation, and ensure all reports are compiled accurately and on time according to Veolia deadlines and procedures

• Handle customer enquiries per contract requirements, manage customer pricing reviews and implementation, produce technically accurate reports, and ensure administrative requirements are met in line with policies

• Interpret data to identify business problems, risks and opportunities, guide exception reporting, maintain expert knowledge of customer billing processes, and assist with optimisation opportunities aligned to the Business Improvement Plan

• Maintain effective working relationships with team members, other departments, supervisors/managers, and external parties while keeping management informed of issues
  
  

What you'll need to be successful

• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant experience

• Demonstrated work experience, IT/Computer Systems experience will be highly regarded

• Proficiency in excel

• Demonstrated working knowledge of SAP
