Title:  Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Our workshop is seeking a talented Heavy Diesel Mechanic who's eager to expand their skills and embrace a new adventure.

As part of our dynamic team, you'll tackle diverse challenges – from auto electrical work to fabrication, diagnostics, and component changeouts. We're looking for a driven individual who's not afraid to step out of their comfort zone and contribute to our overall success.

What you'll be responsible for

• To service maintain and repair plant, equipment and fleet vehicles in a timely manner
• Complete scheduled daily work tasks as directed by the Workshop Supervisor/Leading Hand in an efficient and timely manner
• Complete work orders, purchase orders and part requisitions daily and in full
• Record, monitor stock and part levels and advise any discrepancies
  
  
  

What you'll need to be successful

• Trade certificate relevant to job
• Proven mechanical knowledge / experience within the automotive repair industry
• HR Licence 
• Forklift ticket is desirable
• Open to recent graduates, Diesel Fitters or Light Vehicle Mechanics looking to upskill or gain experience within the waste industry
  
  Willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance and medical check relevant to the role
