The Opportunity
Veolia has a great opportunity for a Plant Operator to join our team in Townsville. In this role you’ll be responsible for the safe loading & unloading of liquid waste onsite and operate fixed plant machinery to process waste water and also segregate and separate hazardous wastes.
It is a full-time, permanent opportunity in a supportive and friendly team. This will be a Monday to Friday role, however occasional weekend shifts might be required.
In your day-to-day activities, you’ll comply with, and promote, Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies and Site Safe Operating Procedures. And in the long run, you’ll contribute to a sustainable future for Australia.

What you'll need to be successful

Trade qualification

Experience in plant or water treatment operations highly regarded

Pride in the maintenance and presentation of equipment

A solid commitment to safety and a willingness to work as part of a team

A Valid B Class and Forklift Licence is desirable

A valid Working From Heights and Confined Space ticket is desirable
