The Opportunity
Lead a team of 15 operators and keep critical wastewater and recycled water plants safe, compliant and performing at their best across the Hunter region.
Veolia is seeking an experienced Wastewater Operations Supervisor to oversee day to day operations and maintenance across multiple Hunter Water Alliance wastewater and recycled water treatment sites. You’ll drive safety, environmental licence compliance, reliability and continuous improvement—while coaching and developing a high-performing operator team.

What you'll be responsible for
-
Lead safe, compliant WWTP and RW operations & maintenance across multiple sites
-
Supervise, coach and roster a team of ~15 operators (leave/timesheets/overtime)
-
Troubleshoot plant/process issues and drive optimisation and performance improvements
-
Coordinate monitoring, reporting and contribute to monthly performance reviews

Partner with maintenance/asset teams on preventative maintenance, CMMS and contractor management
-
Support audits, incidents/emergency response, permits/JSA and risk controls
What you'll need to be successful

Supervisory experience in wastewater/water treatment operations and maintenance
-
Strong safety leadership and understanding of WHS risk management
-
Experience with environmental compliance and operational reporting
