The Opportunity
Join Veolia's Technical Team and make a real impact on water quality. As a Graduate Engineer – Water, you'll monitor and optimise 6 Water Treatment Works across the Hunter region, ensuring compliance with Australian Drinking Water Guidelines.
Your work will span incident investigation, process optimisation, chemical dosing trials, and compliance reporting—giving you exposure to the full lifecycle of water treatment operations in a collaborative environment where your ideas matter.

What you'll be responsible for

Monitor and optimise water treatment plant performance across multiple sites

Investigate incidents and troubleshoot operational challenges

Conduct chemical dosing trials and provide guidance to operators

Review water quality data and prepare compliance reports

Support emergency response and abnormal events

Travel between 6 WTW facilities in the Hunter region

Participate in drinking water quality audits and IPART assessments

Create training documentation and standard procedures
What you'll need to be successful
- Degree in Engineering
- Experience in water treatment plant operations and maintenance preferred
- Willingness to learn and develop in an operational environment
