The Opportunity
Veolia has a fantastic opportunity for a Business & Reporting Analyst to join our team based in Tomago 2300. This is a hands on, practical role with an immediate focus on Tableau based reporting and dashboard implementation, playing a key part in transitioning the Alliance away from spreadsheet and Google Sheet based reporting toward robust, scalable dashboard solutions.
As the Business & Reporting Analyst, you will work closely with Alliance stakeholders and technical teams to ensure reporting requirements are properly captured, analysed, and delivered. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on analyst looking to make an immediate impact, with real scope to grow and develop within the role over time.

What you’ll be responsible for
- Implement and validate Tableau dashboards, supporting the transition away from Google Sheets and spreadsheet-based reporting
- Liaise between Alliance stakeholders and technical teams to capture, analyse, and document reporting requirements
- Develop and maintain operational dashboards that provide meaningful performance insights across the business
- Evaluate reporting solutions and make recommendations aligned with business goals
- Assist in testing to ensure delivered dashboards and reports meet requirements
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to end users on new reporting tools and processes
- Support broader performance reporting and data-driven decision-making across the Alliance
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and analytical capability over time
What You’ll Need to be Successful
- Tertiary qualification or proven track record in a similar role
- Hands-on experience with Tableau is strongly preferred; strong Power BI experience will also be considered
- Practical experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports in a business environment
- Ability to translate data into clear business insights
