Veolia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Boilermaker to work with our Tomago based Fabrications team.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Remove, replace and repair potshells from the aluminium smelter.
  • Perform welding and cutting operations.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to ensure quality and safety.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Ensuring quality workmanship on all jobs.
  • Adhering to site specific rules and requirements. 
  • Drive Veolia’s ‘Always Safe’ Culture.

What You’ll Need to be Successful

  • Trade qualification as a Boilermaker.
  • Proven experience in boilermaking and welding.
  • Oxy Gouging and Cutting experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license.
