Title:  Operator - Industrial Liquid Plant

The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our team in Brooklyn, VIC (3012).

As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of both fixed and mobile plant equipment at our facility. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining our high standards of operational excellence and safety performance.

What you'll be responsible for

• Operating fixed and mobile plant equipment in accordance with safety protocols

• Processing waste materials through various treatment methods and technologies

• Contributing to safety initiatives and helping develop operational procedures

• Ensuring work areas are maintained to high cleanliness and safety standards

What you'll need to be successful

• Current forklift licence

• Mechanical experience with process pumps, valves, fittings & pipework (desirable)

• SCADA experience (desirable)

• Waste industry experience (advantageous but not essential) 

• Strong team player with a positive attitude 

• Demonstrated commitment to safety 

• Willingness to complete medical assessment and drug & alcohol testing

• Safety conscious mindset
