The Opportunity


Pivotal role within our Technical and Innovation team to manage and deliver our NSW/ACT portfolio of projects with project value range up to $30 million.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Work with key stakeholders and align project planning and delivery to their business objectives with application of project management methodologies and compliance standards
  • Ensure focus and adherence to safety standards, legislation, including environmental regulations for design and delivery
  • Collaborate with direct reports and stakeholders to ensure project planning and scheduling, scope of work, contract documentation, cost estimation and monitoring project outcomes are aligned to Veolia’s Project Management Standard
  • Effective supply chain management including procurement and contractor management , ensuring high performance is upheld
  • Lead a team of engineering and project management professionals and support in delivery and ongoing career development
     

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Demonstrated project management experience 
  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualifications
  • Over 10 years of experience in technical services consulting, design, project delivery, construction and/or operations
  • Practical experience in process, civil, mechanical and electrical engineering
  • A background in managing small to medium sized projects
  • The ability to build sound rapport and positive working relationships with direct reports and key stakeholders
