The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ, a global leader in environmental solutions, is currently seeking skilled Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Greenacre, NSW (2190). We also welcome passionate individuals looking to gain experience in the waste industry.
As a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic, you'll be responsible for servicing and maintaining a diverse fleet of heavy industrial and commercial waste vehicles, plants, and equipment in our state-of-the-art workshop.

What you'll be responsible for
-
Efficiently service, maintain, and repair plant, equipment, and fleet vehicles

Complete daily work tasks as assigned by the Workshop Supervisor/Leading Hand

Accurately process work orders, purchase orders, and part requisitions
-
Record, monitor stock and part levels and advise any discrepancies

Monitor and manage stock levels, reporting any discrepancies
What you'll need to be successful

Australian recognised Diesel / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic's trade certificate Or Light Vehicle mechanic’s trades licence
-
Proven mechanical experience in the automotive repair industry

HR licence and Forklift ticket (desirable)

Previous hydraulic experience or electrical would be highly regarded

Recent graduates, Diesel Fitters, or Light Vehicle Mechanics looking to upskill are encouraged to apply

Willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance and medical check relevant to the role
