The Opportunity


Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage assigned capital projects from initiation to closeout at our Kurnell Desalination Plant (KDP), 2231.  Within this role you will be responsible delivering projects within approved budgets and schedules, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Ensure projects are planned, executed and delivered to maximise efficiency and productivity
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety and actively engage in Veolia's safety program
  • Provide input into strategic plans, budgets, and targets
  • Perform regular evaluation of project risks and implement controls
  • Deliver projects within approved budgets and schedules
  • Manage contractors and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide regular project progress reports to stakeholders
  • Liaise with other project teams and operational functions to share knowledge and improve project delivery
  • Prepare project and financial approval documentation

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • A tertiary qualification in engineering or experience to commensurate with
  • Project management experience, ideally managing projects up to $2M
