The Opportunity
Veolia is seeking a Liquid Vacuum Truck Operator to join our dedicated Liquid Waste team in St Marys (2760). This is a permanent full-time role working Monday to Friday with an early morning start time between 5:00 and 5:30 AM. What you'll be responsible for
- Safely operate heavy vehicles for liquid waste collection
- Transport various waste streams to designated disposal sites
- Driving to various client sites, loading and unloading liquid waste.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to our valued clients
What you'll need to be successful
- Valid HC licence with at least 2 years of heavy vehicle driving experience
- Comfortable being on your feet and handling physical tasks throughout the day
- Experience operating Truck and Dog trailers
- Available for weekend on-call work (1 day, twice a month)
- Confined Space ticket (desirable but not essential)
- Heavy Vac/Combo Unit experience (desirable but not essential)
- Good communication skills
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental practices
