Title:  Electrical Engineer

The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Industrial Services team based in Springfield, 4300. In this role, you will be responsible for providing engineering services to the Solutions Energy business and technical assistance to the Business Development teams.

What you'll be responsible for

• Project managing works projects - ensuring projects are planned, executed and delivered to maximise efficiency and productivity.
• Ensuring project priorities are clearly established and frequently communicated.
• Driving work progress and completion under set project targets including cost, time and quality.
• Designing and/or reviewing engineering components for safety, standards, and project expectations.
• Providing technical support for multi-year projects with Veolia Energy services.
• Producing engineering drawings including for internal only, shop drawings for suppliers, and as-built drawings for project O&M documentation.
• Procurement of goods and services for projects.
• Performing M&V planning and reporting for relevant projects and EPC contracts.
• Reporting and invoicing. 
• Performing network studies and electrical calculations. 
• Driving a safety first and continuous improvement culture. 
   

What you'll need to be successful

• Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• Excellent collaboration, negotiation and problem solving skills
• Proven track record in managing projects
• CPEng highly regarded
