Title:  Spring Farm Precinct Manager

The Opportunity

 

Reporting to the NSW Resource Recovery General Manager, the Precinct Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations, safety compliance and financial performance of multiple business units. You will be responsible for leading a team of operational personnel and contractors, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and optimising operational efficiency.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Managing and executing operational plans across multiple business units, contained on the same site, to maximise site productivity and achieve operational targets.
  • Ensuring compliance with key contractual obligations outlined in agreements with Local Councils.
  • Overseeing and managing site financials, including P&L reporting.
  • Leading and working alongside the operational staff and contractors to ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Leading continuous improvement aimed at improving operational efficiency.
  • Promoting Veolia’s ‘Always Safe’ culture of personal safety, awareness and environmental compliance in the workplace.

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Previous P&L responsibility
  • Previous experience working within a Resource Recovery Facility.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing teams, fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment.
  • Proven ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational excellence.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders throughout all levels of the business.
  • Committed focus to safety and environmental compliance standards 
  • Class C Driver’s Licence
