What you'll be responsible for
-
Ensuring all maintenance requirements for fixed plant and equipment are coordinated as well as planning maintenance activities

Establishing maintenance programs and safety procedures for all maintenance activities
-
Managing maintenance programs to maximise life cycle, serviceability and availability of equipment.

Monitoring maintenance costs and making recommendations for improvement.

Developing and strengthening key internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Drive a Safety first work culture that ensures an incident and injury-free work environment.

Maintain accurate and consistent maintenance records for all plant and equipment, utilising Veolia´s CMMS system.
What you'll need to be successful

Trade qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical or similar
-
3+ years of fitting experience
-
Experience in waste operations is desirable
-
Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment & fault finding techniques
-
Experience in working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Ability to solve problems
-
Previous experience of team management desirable
