What you'll be responsible for

  • Ensuring all maintenance requirements for fixed plant and equipment are coordinated as well as planning maintenance activities 

  • Establishing maintenance programs and safety procedures for all maintenance activities

  • Managing maintenance programs to maximise life cycle, serviceability and availability of equipment.

  • Monitoring maintenance costs and making recommendations for improvement.

  • Developing and strengthening key internal and external stakeholder relationships.

  • Drive a Safety first work culture that ensures an incident and injury-free work environment.

  • Maintain accurate and consistent maintenance records for all plant and equipment, utilising Veolia´s CMMS system.

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Trade qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical or similar 

  • 3+ years of fitting experience 

  • Experience in waste operations is desirable

  • Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment & fault finding techniques 

  • Experience in working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

  • Ability to solve problems 

  • Previous experience of team management desirable
