The Opportunity
Here at Veolia we have a dynamic opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our Resource Recovery precinct in Spring Farm 2570. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance service team and activities to ensure the effective completion of jobs in accordance with safety, legislative and environmental standards with customer expectations and performance targets in mind

What you'll be responsible for
-
Ensuring all maintenance requirements for fixed plant and equipment are coordinated as well as planning maintenance activities

Establishing maintenance programs and safety procedures for all maintenance activities

Managing maintenance programs to maximise life cycle, serviceability and availability of equipment.

Monitoring maintenance costs and making recommendations for improvement.

Developing and strengthening key internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Drive a Safety first work culture that ensures an incident and injury-free work environment.

Maintain accurate and consistent maintenance records for all plant and equipment, utilising Veolia´s CMMS system.
What you'll need to be successful

Trade qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical or similar

3+ years of fitting experience

Experience in waste operations is desirable
-
Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment & fault finding techniques

Experience in working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Ability to solve problems
-
Previous experience of team management desirable
