The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ are looking for an Operator to join the team in Spreyton on a permanent full-time basis. In this role you will be operating a range of machinery within the Recycling Facility including front end loader, forklifts, telehandler, product balers and other equipment to achieve operational outcomes.

What you'll be responsible for

• Operate plant and equipment within the Recycling Facility to achieve operational outcomes

• Operate front end loaders, telehandler, forklifts and product balers

• Provide a range of support services to assist in the operation of the business unit

• Promote and continuously apply personal safety, environmental and quality awareness in the workplace

• Check daily instructions and prioritise accordingly to complete work tasks in accordance with required deadlines

• Help ensure that all machinery is maintained in required condition, fuelled, parked and inspected at the end of each shift

• Ensuring a high standard of quality of sorted recyclables.

• Removal of contamination from a moving conveyor

What you'll need to be successful

• Forklift licence (essential)

• Valid Drivers licence

• Loader licence (desirable)

• Telehandler (desirable)
