What you'll be responsible for
-
Oversee daily operations and support the team in fulfilling their responsibilities, including staff induction, performance monitoring and providing constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement

Manage work priorities based on daily instructions, ensuring scheduled tasks are completed efficiently and on time in line with Veolia policies, procedures and productivity KPIs

Maintain equipment and machinery in safe working order, conducting regular checks and coordinating maintenance activities in accordance with Veolia guidelines and VES standards
-
Champion a strong safety culture by actively participating in Take 5s, JSEAs, SWMSs, and hazard identification processes, while keeping the work area clean, organised and safe

Foster effective communication across the team and with external stakeholders, facilitating regular meetings and resolving issues collaboratively with the supervisor/operations manager
-
Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements without compromising safety or quality
What you'll need to be successful

Excellent communication skills
-
Forklift license
-
Front End Loader ticket (desirable)
-
Full Driver’s License
-
First Aid certification (desirable)

Working knowledge of WHA,EPA Legislation and regulations
