The Opportunity

Veolia is seeking a dedicated Cleaner for our Material Recovery Facility in Spreyton. This role offers the chance to join a leading environmental services company and contribute to sustainable waste management practices. Standard hours for this role are Monday-Friday, 9:00AM - 5:00PM.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the facility, including plant and machinery
  • Operating various types of machinery, including forklifts and elevated work platforms
  • Completing scheduled work tasks and daily instructions
  • Adhering to safety procedures and promoting safe working practices
  • Participating in team meetings and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Following administrative procedures and completing daily pre-start checklists


 

What you'll need to be successful

  • Forklift licence (desirable)
  • Experience operating heavy equipment (desirable)
  • Commitment to safety and environmental awareness
  • Ability to lift up to 30kg and perform physical tasks
  • Positive attitude and customer focus
