The Opportunity
Join Veolia ANZ as General Manager - Sales for Environmental Services, leading a high-performing national sales team to drive revenue growth across a $1+ billion waste collection and specialised treatment portfolio. This strategic leadership role offers the chance to shape go-to-market strategies across four key business verticals including National Key Accounts, Defence, Liquid and Hazardous, and Medical waste, while building deep relationships with Tier 1 government and corporate clients across Australia.

What you'll be responsible for
Leading and developing a national sales team, you will be responsible for:
- Driving new business acquisition by identifying and winning customers, focusing on margin and volume growth
- Developing tailored go-to-market strategies for four key business verticals
- Building and nurturing deep relationships with Tier 1 government and corporate clients through regular face-to-face visits
- Partnering with State General Managers and COO to align national sales strategies with state-based operations
- Overseeing proposals, quotations, tenders and results reporting across the portfolio
- Leading the national tender team and managing resources across collections and resource recovery activities
- Promoting a safety-first culture within the sales team and ensuring compliance with company safety policies
What you'll need to be successful
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Sales, Marketing or related discipline with 10+ years in senior sales leadership roles
- Proven track record managing portfolios valued at $500M+ and consistently exceeding sales targets
- Demonstrated B2B sales experience with blue-chip corporate clients and national key account management
- Strategic thinker with results-driven hunter mentality and ability to establish trusted C-suite partnerships
- Strong commercial acumen in pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and tender preparation with valid driver's license
