Title: Business Development Manager - Remediation Services

The Opportunity
In this key position you will get a chance to showcase your capacity to win B2B leads and move business from first engagement, through bid preparation and to the final contract award stage. You will be working with the National Manager of our Remediation Services division, seeking clients who need our soil and/or water remediation services. If you have experience in business development for a similar technical or industrial service, this would be a great foot-in-the-door with a large, market-leading player. But if you have a background in relevant environmental science or engineering and are looking to move your career into sales, this would also be a great way to achieve your career aims.

What you'll be responsible for
- Identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities
- Building business relationships with new and potential clients
- Developing robust and attractive bid solutions that cover design, program, and project delivery methodologies.
- Responding to potential client requests for expressions of interest (EOIs), pre-qualifications, proposals (RFPs) and tenders
- Answering client questions and follow-up call questions
- Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients.
What you'll need to be successful
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience within a within a sales or business development position (preferred)
- A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or Civil Engineering (preferred)
- A proactive and entrepreneurial attitude and a desire to build a B2B sales career with a large, technical organisation.
