The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Process Engineer with Reverse Osmosis (RO) and waste water treatment experience to support our Remediation Services team.

What you'll be responsible for
-
Project delivery for waste water treatment plants both in NSW and interstate, including process design, site setup/installation, commissioning and ongoing operations.

Monitoring and optimisation of both temporary and permanent water treatment plants at client and Veolia sites.

Provide engineering support and supervision to WTP operational teams.

Operate water treatment plants from time to time.
-
Ensure water treatment plants are operating in line with design, standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.

Develop and maintain safety documentation, batch sheets, monitoring and testing plans.

Undertake water quality sampling and environmental monitoring.
-
Monitor and analyse trends in water quality data.
-
Maintain a continuous improvement approach with respect to costs, process, operations and health & safety.

Represent Veolia during Factory and Site Acceptance Testing.

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with the client and stakeholders.

Take part in the management of mobile assets, critical parts and consumables to ensure minimum down time.
What you'll need to be successful

Tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering.

Experience as a Process/Chemical Engineer, preferably in an operational environment with RO and/or waste water treatment experience.

Eligibility to join Engineers Australia.

Australian citizen with the ability to obtain a Department of Defence baseline security clearance.

Driver’s licence and own transport.

Be prepared to travel to different client and Veolia locations (including interstate).

A high attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to interpret relevant data.

Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.

Have a high regard for customer focus and safety.
