Title:  Senior Finance Analyst

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst with a strong understanding of the Veolia business to step up into a role that supports the National Finance Manager and the Head of Commercial Finance nationally. You will use both your demonstrated accounting skills and your sound business skills to advise across the business, assisting managers in the understanding of the finance drivers of their part of the company, providing them insight into their financial data and helping them with initiatives to assist in achieving objectives. Your strong skills in developing budgets, reporting and data analysis will be key to your success. This role will enable you to step up to a higher level of financial analysis and business support and has great potential to be a stepping stone to future career advancement within Veolia.

What you'll be responsible for

• Financial analysis and reporting

• Financial Accounting, Month end result preparation and Weekly P&L Accounting

• Consultation with business unit managers to provide insight and advice

• Development of budgets, forecasting and planning

• Commercial modelling for tenders and project planning
  
  
  

What you'll need to be successful

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance

• Fully/Partly qualified CA/CPA (preferred)

• Demonstrated work experience, accounting experience will be highly regarded

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of P&L drivers of performance
