Veolia needs an experienced Leading Hand for our water crew in Rocklea, 4106.

You'll work alongside our relining crew, making sure the job gets done right - safe, quality work that meets the mark. Your know how will keep things running smooth through smart planning and getting the most out of every day.

What you'll be responsible for

Reporting to the Project Supervisor, you'll:

● Run crew and oversee the site and handle safety paperwork and permits
● Plan the work to keep things efficient and by the book
● Bring your technical skills to the relining work
● Find better ways to get the job done
● Keep safety front and center with your crew
● Make sure quality, environmental, and safety procedures are followed
● Check the relining work - curing temps, materials, inspections - to meet standards
● Support and coach your crew in the field
● Keep everyone in the loop and work together to get it done
● Deal with locals and others on site

What you'll need to be successful

• Proven pipe relining experience
• Good at talking to people and keeping things organised
• Can train others and keep the crew working well together
