Title:  Junior Project Engineer

The Opportunity

Veolia is seeking a Junior Project Engineer to join our Network Services team in Rocklea 4106.  Within this role, you'll assist in managing various wastewater projects, focusing on delivering excellent outcomes for our clients while maintaining our high standards of safety and quality. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands on experience in project management and wastewater network operations.

What you'll be responsible for

Assisting the project management team in the following duties: 

• Assisting with driving work progress and completion under set project targets including cost, time and quality
• Preparing project documentation, including reports and other information
• Solving technical problems related to project planning, delivery, field work, and project data.
• Ensuring projects comply with contractual requirements
• Establishing project priorities and ensuring these are frequently communicated
• Managing key stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of priorities
• Quality assurance and control across deliverables

What you'll need to be successful

• Undergraduate Degree or higher in mechanical, civil or water engineering
• Experience with stormwater, water or wastewater networks, (preferred)
• Experience with Asset Management and Mapping systems (preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail
