Title:  Junior Environmental Technician

The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ has an exciting opportunity available for a Junior Environmental Technician to join our Remediation Services team based in Rocklea. This permanent full time position would suit a recent Engineering student, keen to get hands-on experience with a global organisation. 

This role requires expertise in environmental science, waste management, and project coordination. The position combines technical field work with administrative responsibilities, focusing on environmental compliance and treatment facility operations.

What you'll be responsible for

• Technical Assessment and formal quotation
• Manages routine environmental monitoring programs
• Collects and analyses waste/soil samples
• Oversees treatment processes at Veolia Resource Recovery facilities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
• Monitors treatment effectiveness
• Project and contractors coordination

What you'll need to be successful

• A Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, Management or related studies
• Ability to take initiative, learn and grow within a professional team environment 
• Current valid drivers licence
