The Opportunity


We seek a highly motivated and experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join our dynamic team in Rocklea, QLD. This pivotal role will be instrumental in upholding and elevating our safety management systems across multiple sites, including Rocklea, Toowoomba, and Emerald.

Collaborating with diverse clients, you will have the unique opportunity to shape safety culture, drive performance improvements, and ensure unwavering compliance across our operations in the demanding mining and oil & gas sectors.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Oversee and maintain safety management systems across multiple site locations
  • Demonstrate strong safety leadership and work closely with operational teams
  • Lead safety performance initiatives and drive positive cultural change
  • Manage safety training programs and ensure compliance with procedures
  • Participate in client meetings and provide expert safety guidance
  • Investigate incidents and implement preventive measures
  • Perform internal audits according to national governance standards
  • Monitor and ensure contractor compliance with safety regulations

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in Health & Safety Advisory or similar roles
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence at all levels
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in driving safety improvements
  • Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Proven experience implementing and maintaining safety systems
  • Previous mining, oil & gas, or transport industry experience preferred
