The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ has an exciting opportunity available for an Environmental Technician to join our Remediation Services team based in Rocklea. This permanent full time position would suit a recent Engineering student, keen to get hands-on experience with a global organisation. 

 

This role requires expertise in environmental science, waste management, and project coordination. The position combines technical field work with administrative responsibilities, focusing on environmental compliance and treatment facility operations.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Conduct technical assessments and provide formal quotations

  • Manage routine environmental monitoring programs

  • Collect and analyse waste/soil samples

  • Oversee the treatment processes at Veolia Resource Recovery facilities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations

  • Monitor treatment effectiveness

  • Coordinating projects and contractors

What you'll need to be successful

  • A Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, Management or related studies

  • Ability to take initiative, learn and grow within a professional team environment 

  • Current valid drivers licence
