Veolia is seeking a self starting Area Sales Representative to join our Liquid and Hazardous Waste team who is an excellent communicator with the ability to work autonomously and with a diverse range of clients.   


You will be responsible for maximising sales opportunities to generate an increased market share of liquid and regulated waste services within the Brisbane area. Working with various SMEs, you will focus on new business opportunities and work towards a sustainable future. 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify and actively pursue revenue opportunities with new clients and promote and pursue additional revenue opportunities with existing clients
  • Maintain contact and monitor the status of customers within the territory ensuring that new developments, leads or other changes are identified and acted upon
  • Provide quotes to customers within established limits, or seek approval where required
  • Implement a sales plan, regularly review actual performance against forecasted results, and adjust plans accordingly
  • Assist in the population and development of the CRM database
  • Maintain effective working relationships with liquid waste team members and other departments

About You:


  • Previous experience in B2B sales
  • Proven skills in managing multiple and competing stakeholder requirements
  • Excellent communication and self-motivation skills
  • Focus on building on new and existing relationships
  • High level analysis, problem-solving skills, and negotiating skills
  • Effective networking skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications desirable
