Title:  Process Engineer

The Opportunity

Veolia has a fantastic opportunity for a Process Engineer to join our team based at the Fitzroy to Gladstone Pipeline Project (F2GPP) in Alton Downs, Queensland 4310. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical and engineering support across operations, process engineering, and water quality functions, while identifying and implementing process optimisation initiatives to enhance plant performance and operational efficiency.

What You’ll be Responsible for

• Proactively monitoring process equipment and data to enhance operational performance

• Managing process sampling, analysis and reporting

• Reviewing plant performance and recommending process changes to improve compliance and reduce operational costs

• Optimising and managing process and water quality risks

• Identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities

• Ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, and health and safety requirements

• Collaborating with engineering, operations and quality teams to develop and update procedures

• Assisting with asset management and technical specifications

• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

What You’ll Need to be Successful

• Tertiary qualifications in chemical engineering or equivalent

• Water or Wastewater treatment experience is preferable. 

• Experience in process and operations Engineering.
