The Opportunity

We are seeking a Water Treatment Operator to operate and maintain a leachate/wastewater treatment plant in Raymond Terrace, NSW. An attractive salary package, which includes overtime paid at an hourly rate and a company vehicle, is on offer for the role. This position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to essential environmental projects.

What you'll be responsible for

• Operate, monitor and maintain the contaminated water treatment plant.
• Assist the project/process engineers in undertaking improvement and optimisation initiatives.
• Carry out water sampling with a high degree of care to prevent cross contamination.
• Maintain asset integrity by regular inspections, services and testing to ensure maximum uptime.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure contract obligations are met.
• Undertake routine maintenance activities including supervision of work orders and maintaining a spare parts inventory.

What you'll need to be successful

What you’ll need to be successful

• Experience in water treatment operations.

• A working knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment and components.

• Previous experience in water sampling and/or testing is highly regarded.

• Be able to pass a criminal history check and Department of Defence baseline security clearance.
